FBI ARRESTS TONY ALAMO

FBI Special Agents arrested Bernie Hoffman, aka Tony Alamo in Flagstaff, Arizona thisafternoon without incident.  A federal arrest warrant was issued for Alamo, the founder andleader of the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries, on suspicion of transporting minors across statelines for sexual purposes.  It is a federal crime to knowingly transport a minor (under 18)across state lines with the intent to engage in sexual activity that would be a criminal offenseunder state law.  Alamo was arrested at a motel in Flagstaff.
