LI MAN MOLESTED GAL PAL’S KID, 9: COPS

Eugenio Soto, a 46 year old Freeport man, was arrested and charged with sexually molesting the 9 year old daughter of a former girlfriend.   He has been charged with sexual abuse for allegedly fondling the child in his car on October 10th, while on the way to a toy store.  According to Nassau County Detective Sgt. Richard Zito, Soto dated the victim's mother but was more interested in her daughter.  The little girl told her school teacher about the incident & the teacher told the mother.  The mom, in turn, told police, who investigated and arrested him.  He has at least two prior arrests, both in the 1980s, for assault and drunken driving.
