LONG ISLAND MAN ARRESTED IN CHILD PORN CASE

Joseph Crosier, 31, of East Meadow, was arrested and charged with seven counts of first-degree promoting a sexual performance of a child and seven counts of possession of child pornography.  He allegedly transmitted photographs of young girls being sexually exploited and seemingly raped by men.  Crosier allegedly transmitted these images to more than 60 fellow AOL subscribers.  If convicted, he could face as much as 7 years in prison on each count of promoting and 3 years on each count of possession and be required to register his address as a sex offender under Megan's Law for at least 10 years.  He has been released on $2,500 bond or $2,500 cash after his arraignment in First District court in Hempstead.
