Beaumont — KFDM is joining the effort to keep Southeast Texas streets safe.
Each week, we want you to help us assist law enforcement in catching some of the most wanted fugitives in our area.
We’ve partnered with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office to shine the spotlight on men and women who have managed to elude justice. They are on the run.
Many of them have been at large for many years and accused of serious crimes.
The first fugitive we are profiling is Brian Edward Hawley, he's wanted on three charges, two indecency with a child and one continuous sexual abuse of a child.
Hawley has been on the run since a Jefferson County grand jury indicted him on those charges, that was in 2019.z
Judge Raquel West issued arrest warrants for each count on August 29th of that year.
The fugitive is still at large now for almost two years.
According to the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office, Hawley is accused of committing these sex crimes against multiple children in Beaumont.
Hawley was born on June 17th, 1975, making him 45 right now.
The mug shot on this page was taken in 2014, seven years ago, so his looks have likely changed.
The last physical description we have of him is he's 6'2", weighs 340 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.
|Sheriff Zena Stephens calls Hawley "a bad dude". She says, "This guy needs to be put in jail. Please help us find him."
