POLICE MAKE ARREST IN CHILD RAPE CASE

PFMLIT June 30, 2004 FAMILY FRIEND ACQUAINTANCE, General, HOMELESS SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST

Roopan Singh, who police said is homeless, was arrested by Nassau police yesterday for sexually assaulting a 7 year old girl while staying as a houseguest in her Elmont home. Singh was arrested in the Bronx and charged with first-degree and third-degree rape.
