A Northstate man has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for lewd or lascivious acts against two minors and possession of child pornography.
According to the Shasta County District Attorney's Office, Adam York manufactured child pornography and possessed more than 600 images of child pornography; along with his sex crimes against the two minors.
Redding Police say after a lengthy investigation involving search warrants and thousands of documents, York confessed to the crimes.
Officers learned about the case after they were sent a series of internet tips through the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. RPD is a member of the Sacramento branch.
York will have to register as a sex offender when he is released.
