Baldwin Man Found Guilty of Running Sex Trafficking Ring: Feds

A federal jury convicted a Baldwin man on Tuesday of sex trafficking by force and two counts of interstate prostitution, prosecutors announced.

Michail McKen, 36, ran a sex trafficking business in Nassau and Suffolk counties, U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said.

The verdict came after a six-day trial.

ROCKFORD — A Freeport, Ill. resident was sentenced today to 17 years in federal prison for traveling to Iowa to engage in sexual conduct with a minor he met online.

INDIANAPOLIS – Epigmenio Vazquez Gatica, 35, of Indianapolis, was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to sexual exploitation of a child. Gatica also admitted to the sexual exploitation of two other children.

In February 2021, a child disclosed that Gatica had been laying on the bathroom floor and filming the child while the child showered. This led to an investigation of Gatica. Law enforcement officers obtained a warrant to search his cellular telephone and were able to access the data. Investigators recovered multiple videos of that child,

CLEVELAND – Dylan T. Flanigan, 49, of Lorain, Ohio, was sentenced on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, to more than 14 years in prison by U.S. District Judge Donald C. Nugent after he previously pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.

According to court documents, in February 2019, law enforcement investigators executed a search warrant at Flanigan’s Lorain residence after receiving information that he was in possession of child pornography.

During the search, investigators found multiple electronic devices that, upon examination, contained hundreds of images and more than 70 videos of child pornography.
