SUBWAY RAPE VICTIM HELPS NAB SUSPECT

Oneal Borgella, 21, approached a 14 year old girl after getting on a train, brandished a sharp object, possibly a large nail or piece of metal, and demanded her money.  After she handed over $9 in cash, he allegedly raped and sodomized her on the floor of empty car No. 209A as the train rumbled along.  The victim's terror ride began at about 2:50 a.m. yesterday, at 3:15 a.m. the girl managed to escape from her assailant in a Brooklyn station and alerted cops, who arrested the suspect.  Borgella has a prior conviction for burglary as well as arrests for grand larceny and harassment.  In 1994, he was charged with attempted murder but that case is sealed.  He has been charged with rape, sodomy, weapon possession, robbery and unlawful imprisonment.
