Tampa pastor sexually abused two 7-year-old girls, police say

A Tampa pastor was arrested Friday and accused of sexually abusing three girls under age 12.

Cops said Jesus Manuel Castellano-Mojica, 81, abused and molested two 7-year-old girls and one 11-year-old girl, the Tampa Bay Times reported. The 11-year-old alleged victim is now 28 years old, police said.

Jesus Manuel Castellano-Mojica, 81, was arrested Friday. Cops said he also worked as a Walmart greeter.

Castellano-Mojica was a pastor at Grace Church of the Nazarene in Tampa and a foster parent, according to local Fox affiliate WTVT. Investigators said all three victims had been his foster children.

Police said Florida’s Department of Children and Families reported the suspected abuse on Feb. 14, the Tampa Bay Times reported. Castellano-Mojica was arrested just over a month later.

He was formally charged with two counts of sexual battery and two counts of molestation, according to county jail records. Castellano-Mojica remained behind bars Tuesday on $200,000 bond.
