Woman, 31, groped in LES subway station; suspect sought: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 31-year-old woman was groped inside a Lower East Side subway station on Monday morning, police said as they released a photo of the suspect.

Police are searching for the man that forcibly touched a 31-year-old woman's buttocks and breast area in a Lower East Side subway station on Monday morning.

The victim was approached by the suspect around 8:10 a.m. as she walked down a stairwell from the street to the mezzanine of the East Broadway F line subway station, police said.

According to authorities, the suspect grabbed her buttocks and breast area without her permission.

The man fled in an unknown direction. The victim did not require any medical attention at the scene.

The suspect is described as having dark-colored hair and was last seen wearing neon-colored jacket and light-colored sweatpants.
