WARNING: HOME INTRUDER MOLESTING WOMEN

Suffolk detectives are asking residents to lock their windows and doors following at least 10 incidents in which an unidentified man entered homes and fondle women and girls as they slept.  Since at least August 29, he has entered open windows and doors to attack women as they slept in Wyandanch, West Babylon, Wheatley Heights and, as recently as yesterday, North Amityville.  The 6-foot black man, who might be a teenager or as old as in his 30s, has sneaked into darkened bedrooms in these communities and has used a bicycle as his getaway vehicle.  Police ask anyone with information to call First Squad detectives at 631-854-8152 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
