2 MIAMI UNIVERSITY STUDENT WORKERS AMONG 3 ACCUSED OF RAPE, REPORTS SAY

Three men, including two who are student employees at Miami University, are facing multiplecharges in connection with rape of a teen girl in an apartment near the campus, reports say.

According to the Journal News, Roger Richard Michael Simpson, 23, of Cincinnati, is charged with23 felony counts, including 10 counts of rape, sexual battery, complicity to rape andkidnapping.

Also charged with 23 felony counts is EliljahLee Mincy, 21, of Oxford, including three counts ofrape, complicity to rape, sexual battery, kidnapping and complicity to rape.

Rodney Adrian Louis Gibson II, 21, of Cincinnati, is facing 26 felony counts, including twocounts of rape, sexual battery, kidnapping and complicity to rape.

Bond was set at $300,000 for Simpson and $250,000 each for Mincy and Gibson during a courtappearance Monday.

This is a very brutal rape case, Butler County Prosecutor Michael Gmoser tells the JournalNews. One of the worst this office has seen.

The men are accused of luring a 19-year-old woman, who was visiting Oxford, from a party totheir apartment in February, WLWT Channel 5 reports.

The woman had been drinking and was going in out of consciousness when the rape occurred,reports say. According to the Journal News, the woman's friends came to the apartment looking forher but were told she was not there. The woman tried to leave but the men forced her to stay andhad her text her friends telling them she was OK, WLWT reports.

The teen was later driven to a bar and she told her friends what happened, reports say.
