JAILER COPS PORN PLEA

PFMLIT CHILD PORNOGRAPHY, CORRECTIONS OFFICER, General, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST

William Ryerson, a 44 year old former county corrections officer, has pleaded guilty to a child pornography charge and faces up to 15 years in state prison.  He pleaded guilty to one count of use of a child in a sexual performance.  He was arrested in March 2002 for photographing and having sexual contact with two girls, ages 11 and 15, and keeping the images on his computer.  He remains free on $15,000 bail and sentencing has been set for May 27.
