A 17 year old sophomore, identified in court papers as Marco Perez, is charged with grabbing a15 year old girl in the basement of their Riverdale school and dragged her to a nearby park, wherehe raped her. The girl is set to slap the city with a $5.5 million lawsuit. Her and her familycharge that there should have been more security at MS-HS 141, also known as the David A. SteinRiverdale-Kingsbridge Academy, when the brutal attack occurred during school hours on April 1.Perez was arrested April 10 and charged with the rape. He cut a deal in which he pleaded guilty tosexual misconduct.
