COPS SEEK ALLEGED SEXUAL PREDATOR

Nassau police have issued an alert asking for the public's help finding an alleged sexualpredator who assaulted a child in Westbury. Detectives are looking for the man, Irene SortoRomero, 53, whose last know address is 299 Jackson Street, Hempstead. Romero is wanted oncharges of predatory sexual assault on a child and first-degree sexual conduct against achild. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
