Fugitive California Woman Accused of Sex with Boy

Free (San Jose, California) A 33-year-old local woman, Luz Damarys Maisonet Diaz, is wanted by California authorities forallegedly luring a 14-year-old boy over the Internet for sex.

Diaz faces charges of unlawful sex with a minor and oral copulation.

In April 2007, Diaz was gaming online when she met a 14-year-old boy from the LosAngeles area. They made plans to meet the following weekend for a clandestine rendezvous.

Diaz drove down with a friend, whom she introduced only as Edgar. They picked the teenage boyup from his home, and took him to a Motel 6 in nearby Hacienda Heights. That night, police tell usDiaz and her young victim had sex multiple times.

The following day, the threesome went to Hollywood and saw the sights. When they returned tothe motel, they all ate pizza and watched a movie. When Edgar returned to his room to go to sleep,Diaz and her teenaged victim had sex again.

The next day, Diaz and Edgar returned the boy to his house. He initially said that he hadspent the weekend at Knott's Berry Farm, but two weeks later, Diaz called the boy on his cell phoneand his mother grew suspicious. She grabbed the phone and confronted Diaz. Soon thereafter, thevictim's mother notified police.

Diaz has been in the wind for months. She's believedto be somewhere in California.
