EX-SENATE AIDE FACES CHILD PORN CHARGE
Daniel Liptak, a 43 year old former Senate computer technician, pleaded guilty October 20 to having child pornography on his office and government-issued laptop computers. He was at work in the office of the Senate sergeant-at-arms when he printed out a picture of a naked girl on May 7, 2001. He could get up to 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced on January 26.
