PFMLIT CHILD PORNOGRAPHY, General, GUIDANCE COUNSELOR, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST, TEACHERS SCHOOL STAFF

James Sperduti, a 43 year old former guidance counselor at Tonawanda High School, pleaded guilty yesterday to possessing at least 150 images of child pornography on his computer.  He could receive up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced April 20.  As part of his plea, he admitted to possessing at least 150 but fewer than 300 images of child pornography, including some which depicted children under the age of 12.
