KILLER WHO GOT BUSH REPRIEVE EXECUTED

Ricky McGinn, a 43 year old condemned man who won an unprecedented reprieve from Governor George W. Bush for DNA tests that only confirmed his guilt, was executed yesterday for killing his 12 year old stepdaughter.  He received a lethal injection for raping Stephanie Flanary and bludgeoning her with an ax in 1993.  He insisted evidence was planted or tampered with, but DNA tests completed in August again linked him to the crime.
