LAUSD DRAMA TEACHER CHARGED WITH MOLEST

Peter Christopher Gomez, a 47 year old former drama teacher at Benjamin Franklin High Schoolin Highland Park, has been accused of molesting two male students. The alleged abuse occurredbetween June 30, 1999 and September 3, 2003. The victims were between the ages of 14 and18. Gomez was charged with 26 felony counts, including multiple counts of sexual molestation,sodomy of a person under 16 and oral copulation of a person under 16. He was working as adrama teacher at Bell High School at the time of his arrest. He faces up to 20 years in stateprison.
