MAN CONVICTED OF RAPE GETS 22-YEAR SENTENCE

Javier Hernandez, a 32 year old Bayshore man convicted of raping a 12 year old girl two yearsago, was sentenced yesterday to 22 years in prison. He was found guilty last month of twocounts of first degree criminal sexual act. Prosecutors said he assaulted the girl in herhome in August 2006.
