Megan Mahoney, a 24 year old former basketball coach and gym teacher at Moore Catholic HighSchool in Staten Island, faces statutory rape charges for her alleged sex abuse of a malestudent.　 She was arrested for allegedly having regular sexual contact with the same 16 yearold student over a period of more than two months beginning in late October 2013. Some of theencounters happened on school grounds. She faces 30 counts of statutory rape.
