NEW JERSEY WEB PERV GETS PROBATION

PFMLIT COMPUTER PROGRAMMER, General, SENTENCING, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST

Angelo Montesdeoca, a 32 year old computer programmer from New Jersey, was sentenced to five years' probation after admitting he traveled to South Sioux City, Nebraska, last summer to have sex with a 14 year old girl he met on the Internet.  Montesdeoca, of Lodi, was sentenced in Dakota County District Court.  He pleaded guilty in February to first degree sexual assault and faced a maximum penalty of 50 years in prison.  He was also ordered to register as a sex offender in Nebraska and any state in which he lives.
