GUILTY PLEA A REAL SHOCKER

PFMLIT FAMILY FRIEND ACQUAINTANCE, General, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST

Ray Vogt, a 42 year old man from Albany, who tossed a radio and hair dryer into the bathtub while his girlfriend was in it pleaded guilty to attempted murder charges.  He will serve a prison term of 15 to 18 years.  The plea agreement was reached after a judge ruled jurors could hear evidence that he was having an affair with his girlfriend's 15 year old niece.  The attempt to electrocute his girlfriend failed when a circuit-breaker cut off power.
