NEW YORK NANNY JONATHAN THEN, WORKED FOR DOZENS OF FAMILIES, CHARGED WITH MOLESTING BOYS

Jonathan Then, a 21 year old who called himself an amazing big brother figure, was chargedwith molesting four boys. The Manhattan Manny had access to hundreds of other young boys inrecent years, both in New York City and beyond. He also worked as a volunteer classroom aidewith second and third graders at two elite private schools, Dalton and Trevor Day School. Then also worked at numerous summer camps and day camps in New York City, Connecticut and at leastone sleepaway camp in New Hampshire. The accused is especially attracted to 8 to 10 year oldboys, and boys only. He was first arrested on April 20 and charged with molesting a Brooklynboy. He was out of jail three days later on bail and it is unknown what contact with childrenhe has had since then. On Thursday he was yanked out of a classroom at Hunter College, wherehe is a junior majoring in early childhood education and arrested on charges of molesting threeManhattan boys. Those incidences occurred before April 20. He was charged with fivecounts of sexual assault against a child, 14 counts of sexual abuse, possession of childpornography, and other charges that could sen him to jail for life.
