Cops released a sketch of a man yesterday they say tried to sodomize two girls in Harlem. The incident occurred February 27 around 4:30 p.m. when the man accosted the girls, ages 9 and 10, riding in an elevator at a housing project on West 126th Street. He grabbed the girls, exposed himself and demanded oral sex. The girls resisted and managed to flee. The girls did not report the incident until four other victims came forward in three different cases. Another incident that also occurred on February 27 on the same street but a different apartment building. The assailant approached two girls, ages 15 and 18, at the entrance of the building at 5 p.m. and began to masturbate. The girls fled. On March 17, he wrapped his arm around the neck of a 19 year old woman as she was entering an apartment building on West 133rd Street. He exposed himself and grabbed her between her legs. She managed to flee also. On April 1, a 10 year old girl was walking home from school on Convent Avenue around 3:30 p.m. when she noticed the suspect following her. He followed her into her apartment building and exposed himself and fondled her breasts before fleeing. He is described as Hispanic, mid-20s, 6 foot 1, 150 to 160 pounds, with a slight mustache. He was last seen wearing a blue cap and light blue bubble jacket. Anyone with information can call CrimeStoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
