PEORIA TUTOR ARRESTED ON SUSPICIONOF MULTIPLE CHILD SEX CRIMES, CHILD PORN

A private tutor in Peoria was arrested on Thursday after police say he was found with hundreds of sexually explicit images and videos of children.
Carl Nathaniel Adam Fredricksen, 34, was arrested at a hotel near 75th Avenue and Bell Road on suspicion of child molestation, sexual exploitation of a minor, sexual conduct with a minor and furnishing harmful items to minors.
On July 2, a parent contacted police after learning Fredricksen showed a child inappropriate videos involving children and asked if the child wanted to partake, according to police spokesperson Officer Brandon Sheffert.
Detectives found the man at the hotel, Sheffert said. They found hundreds of videos and photos showing child exploitation. Several victims were identified in the images.
Investigators learned that Fredricksen advertised himself as a private tutor throughout the Valley.
