POLICE BEAT – ‘EWA TEEN CHARGED IN SEXUAL ASSAULT

JD Babauta, a 17 year old 'Ewa boy, was charged with multiple sexual assault offenses stemming from an alleged attack on two teenage girls, 13 and 14, at a Seaview subdivision on February 20.  He was charged with two counts of first degree sexual assault and one count of second degree sex assault.  Arcel Tuabalado, 31, was also charged in the case.  He is charged with first degree sexual assault and is at the O'ahu Community Correctional Center awaiting trial.  Third degree sex assault charges are pending against a third man, 25.
