REGISTRY WILL LINK WITH ALL 50 STATES (Federal law will help crack down on predators who fail to sign up as required)

Utah's sex offender registry and registry requirements for offenders will change next year as the result of federal legislation designed to protect children from sexual predators.  Passed in July, the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006, among other things, aims to crack down on sex offenders who elude the law.  It would incorporate all 50 states' registries into the National Sex Offender Registry.
