Requires every sex offender who is required to register with the division of criminal justice services to provide the name and address of any institution of higher education at which such offender is employed in any capacity, enrolled or attending, and requires such offenders to state whether they will be residing in a facility owned or operated by such an institution; in such       

instances, the local police and campus security shall be notified of the presence of a sex offender on campus; directs the commissioner of education to establish rules and regulations requiring institutions of higher education to post notice of the availability of sex offender information pursuant to article 6-C of the correction law; includes new sex offenses added by the sexual assault reform act and the hate crimes act of 2000 in the list of offenses requiring registration of sex offenders; requires notice by offenders registered in other states when such offenders enter this state to work or attend school; provides for centralized registration of sex offenders with the division of criminal justice services.
