Elizabeth Denbow, a 30 year old Rochester woman accused of downloading
child pornography, was sentenced to prison time Monday, with the
possibility of her release on administrative home confinement after 120
days. Denbow, formerly of Portland Street in Rochester, was sentenced
to 1-3 years in state prison after pleading guilty to six felony counts
of possession of child pornography for downloading six child porn
videos off the Internet in Mary 2006. She was indicted on the charges
following a lengthy police investigation that began with Massachusetts
State Police in November 2006. She will not be required to complete
the prison's sex offender program, but will have to participate in
community programs upon her release. She will also be required to
register as a sex offender.
