TEACHER ACCUSED OF STALKING TEEN
Donald Beyer, a 55 year old Lindenhurst music teacher, has been arrested and charged with stalking a 13 year old boy he met last year during a theater production. Beyer, of 64 Heathcote Road, was arrested Sunday and charged with fourth-degree stalking. Beyer became friends with the boy while conducting music for a production at the BayWay Performing Arts center in East Islip. Beyer was released on $100 cash bond. Police said they remained concerned that there may be other victims, and said people may call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
