TEACHER FELIPE ARGUETA CLEARED OF INAPPROPRIATE TOUCHING CHARGES

Felipe Argueta, a 38 year old former teacher at the Eastport-South Manor Central SchoolDistrict, was accused of inappropriately touching a female student in his high school Spanishclass.  Argueta, of Mount Sinai, was acquitted by a Suffolk jury Thursday.  He was triedon a charge of child endangerment, a Class A misdemeanor.  Argueta's attorney, Michael J.Brown of Central Islip said, The jury listened attentively to the witness testify and came to thesame conclusion that we did--her story was pure fabrication.
