HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WPTA21) - A Huntington woman and her boyfriend are facing a slew of child sex crimes involving three children.
Alissa Thomas, 40, is now facing promotion of child sexual trafficking, two counts of child molesting, child exploitation, possession of child pornography and performing sexual conduct in the presence of a minor charges.
Her boyfriend, 39-year-old Jeremy Helvie, also faces two counts of child molesting, child exploitation, possession of child pornography and performing sexual conduct in the presence of a minor charges.
The 11-page probable cause document details the alleged sexual abuse that occurred between Thomas, Helvie and the minors.
According to court documents, Thomas took nude photos of a preschooler and texted them to Helvie.
Documents also detail Thomas took nude photos of herself in the presence of another child.
A third minor victim told detectives she received nude photos of Thomas on her cellphone.
Police said at one point Thomas and Helvie were having sex with the preschooler in the same bed, involving the child in the sex-act.
The alleged crimes happened between November 2018 and November 2019.
The judge handling the case also issued no-contact orders.
Thomas is due in court for a hearing on Dec. 30, while Helvie is due in court on Feb. 10, 2020.
