Woman Sexually Assaulted While Jogging In Greenwich Village: NYPD

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A woman was jogging Sunday morning on the Hudson River Greenway in Greenwich Village when she was attacked by a man riding a bike and sexually assaulted, police said.
The attack happened around 6:10 a.m. at Pier 40 near West and Clarson streets, police said.
The 39-year-old woman was running northbound on the path when a man riding a bike approached her, pushed her to the ground, and began choking her, police said. The man proceeded to sexually assault her, before snatching her cell phone and fleeing on his bike, police said
Emergency services took the woman to a hospital with bruising and pain.
Police say the man has a beard, is around 5 feet 9 inches, 180 pounds, and is between the ages of 20 and 30.
There have been no arrests and the investigation remain ongoing.
