MENTOR MOLESTED KID: SUIT

PFMLIT General, MENTOR, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST

A West Haven boy is suing a home health-care services company, claiming that, Richard Cudgma, the 37 year old mentor the company provided for him sexually abused him.  The company, now called Patient Care, arranged for the boy to be mentored by Cudgma, who committed suicide January 4, 2004, when police moved to arrest him on child molestation charges.  The lawsuit claims Cudgma sexually assaulted the boy from 2001 to 2003.
