Michael Agrapedes, a 46 year old East Meadow man, was arraigned in First District Court inHempstead August 8 for allegedly transmitting sexually explicit material over the Internet to aminor. Agrapedes, of 2411 Aberdeen Street, started sending pornographic material to what he thoughtwas a 14 year old girl and set up a meeting with her, but she was actually an undercover detective.He was arrested when he arrived for his rendezvous. He was charged with attempted criminal sexualact and disseminating indecent material to a minor. He was being held on $18,000 bond or $6,000cash bail.
