AUBURN, Ind. (WPTA21) - An Auburn man is accused of having a sexual relationship with a young girl.
In October 2020, the Indiana Department of Child Services in Auburn contacted the Indiana State Police to investigate a tip about a sexual abuse case involving a minor.
Indiana State Police learned that Clint Daniel Hess, 30, had allegedly been engaging in sex acts with a 14-year-old girl.
Last week, detectives wrapped up their five-month long investigation and turned over the case to the DeKalb County Prosecutor's Office.
The DeKalb County Superior Court subsequently issued a warrant for his arrest on two felony charges of child molestation and sexual misconduct with a minor.
Indiana State Police from the Fort Wayne Post arrested Hess at his Auburn home without incident Wednesday afternoon.
He is now sitting in the DeKalb County jail as he awaits an initial court appearance.
