Buncombe County teacher accused of sexually abusing student, officials say

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — A teacher is accused of sexually abusing a student, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office.
Albert Pavon, a teacher at Erwin High School, is charged with five sex offense charges related to the sexual abuse of a student, according to detectives with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit
The charges are:
Indecent liberties with a child
Indecent liberties with a student
Three counts of felony dissemination of obscene material to a minor
Pavon is being held at the Buncombe County Detention Facility on a $50,000 bond.
