On August 11, 2004 at approximately 9:40 PM, two juvenile females were walking home in thearea behind Margarita’s Restaurant at 775 Lafayette Rd. when an attempted abduction occurred.

The suspect is described as a whitemale, possibly in his 40’s, approximately 5’8 – 5’9, heavy set with a short beard andgrayish hair. He was wearing a ball cap and a tee shirt of unknown color. His vehicle is describedas a dark colored, full-size SUV with possible Maine plates.

Case Details:Suspect entered single family residence through unsecured door. Suspect then rang doorbell.Victim came downstairs to answer door and was attacked from behind. Large kitchen knife was heldagainst victim. Intent of attack was sexual in nature. Victim was able to talk suspect out offollowing through with threats. Suspect then fled on foot.
