William Flynn, 41, the triggerman in the Pamela Smart murder trial, was grantedparole Thursday, nearly 25 years after he killed his school instructor’s husband and launcheda global spectacle packed with lurid details of sex and manipulation. Flynn was 16 year old Billyin 1990 when he and three teenage friends carried out Pamela Smart’s plot to murder herhusband, Gregg Smart. The state’s highest court ruled Tuesday that local governments can’t barsex offenders from living near a school.
