Derek Longmuir, 48, a former drummer for the 1970's Scottish pop sensation Bay City Rollers, wassentenced to 300 hours community service after he confessed to having indecent films, videos andphotographs at his house. A British court spared Longmuir from going to prison on

Friday after he admitted possession of child pornography. Police had raided his house after atip-off. He has been suspended from his job at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where he was working as asenior nurse.
