(BCN) – San Rafael police on Tuesday announced that a sting operation launched by them and several other agencies had nabbed two men suspected of attempting to solicit minors for lewd purposes, otherwise known as underage prostitution.

Authorities conducted their six-hour operation at a San Rafael hotel on Friday. Ads were placed online on sites that “typically look for women who are offering sexual services for pay,” police said. Law enforcement specifically targeted anyone looking for female juveniles who might be trafficked and buyers seeking minors.

Volusia County sheriff’s detectives say they have arrested 24 people for failing to properly register as sexual offenders or sexual predators.

The arrests come after a countywide investigation into the criminals known as Operation Endgame.

Most of them were following rules, but 24 were found to be in violation of the law that states convicted sexual offenders or predators must register as such with the sheriff’s office.

Some were arrested on unrelated warrants.

According to the Volusia County sheriff’s office, there are 1,267 sex offenders or predators registered as living in Volusia County.

Two people have been charged in the case of a woman who was sexually attacked on a popular New Jersey recreation trail in the middle of the afternoon earlier this week, law enforcement sources said Friday.

Specific charges against the duo — a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, both of whom live in Morristown but are originally from Latin America, the sources say — weren’t immediately released. The arrests come after a woman was attacked on the typically low-crime town’s Traction Line Recreation Trail around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged a man with a number of child sex crimes.

Thomas Antonio Foskey, 35, of Hines Farm Road in Jacksonville, was arrested on April 22. He was taken before an Onslow County Magistrate, and charged with:

Michael Christian Wilcox, of Holdenville, was arrested for child sex crimes after a warrant was issued for his arrest on April 28, according to court documents.

He is charged with four counts of lewd molestation, one count of lewd molestation indecent proposal to child and one count of manufacturing child pornography.

Police have arrested the man accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy earlier this week in Brownsville.

The NYPD arrested Brooklyn native Christopher Fiesco, 32, around 5 a.m. Friday.

Fiesco is charged with luring a child to commit a felony, criminal sex act and sexual contact with an individual less than 14 years old.
