CHILD PORN CHARGE FOR ROTC TEACHER

The Riverhead school district activated its crisis team Friday after the arrest the nightbefore of James Finch, a 48 year old Naval Junior ROTC teacher at Riverhead High School on a childpornography charge. Finch, of 1355 Roanoke Avenue, pleaded not guilty to possessingchild pornography. The district had suspended him even before the plea. Finch'scomputer had numerous pictures of children under 16 engaging in sex. Bail was set at $10,000.
