CHILD PORN SUSPECT ON FBI WANTED LIST (Operated from Thailand, authorities say)

Eric Franklin Rosser, a 48-year-old American keyboard player who ran a music school for childrenin Bangkok, is wanted for numerous offenses including the production of a videotape in Thailandthat depicts him having sex with an 11-year-old girl. For the first time, the FBI placed a childpornography suspect on its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list yesterday. The FBI is offering up to$50,000 for information leading to his arrest. Thai authorities arrested him February 9 on chargesof lewd behavior and possession of pornographic materials after police raided his apartment andfound hundreds of explicit photographs and videos of girls who appeared to be less than 15 yearsold. He disappeared after being released on bail and failed to show for a scheduled Thai courthearing on April 18. Rosser once played keyboard with rock star John Mellencamp. He has a wife anda 2-year-old son in Thailand. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted of molestation inThailand. He faces up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 for each of the six countsin the US indictment.
