BANGKOK – A Thai trafficker was sentenced to a record 374 years in jail for child trafficking in a ruling that lawyers say will send a deterrent to other criminals.
Yuttana Kodsap, 31, was found guilty of child trafficking for the purpose of pornography after he lured children aged 7-12 to play computer games at his house where he filmed sexual acts with them and sold the videos on a chat app, police said.

Charles David Taylor, 66, from Leicestershire, fled the UK after he was
arrested in 1998 and charged with 35 counts of child molestation and
dissemination of child pornography.  He is accused of abusing children
aged between 18 months old and 12 years old.  Taylor was arrested in
Thailand after spending more than 10 years on the run.

Wayne Nelson Corliss, a 58 year old small-time actor, who painted faces at children’s parties and performed as the best Santa Claus anyone has ever seen, was arrested in New Jersey on child-sex charges May 7 after an international manhunt.  According to Interpol, he is suspected of sexually abusing at least three boys from Southeast Asia thought to have been 6 to 10 years old.  Corliss told authorities that he had sex with three boys in Thailand six years ago, an experience he described as euphoria.  He is charged with

First Interpol unmasked his face.  Now it knows his name.  The international police organization, working off tips from people who responded to a global appeal for help, said yesterday it has identified a suspected pedophile shown in Internet photos abusing young boys.  The man, whose face initially was disguised behind a digitalized swirl, is now thought to be on the run in Thailand.  The boys he allegedly abused have not been found.

For the first time, the FBI placed a childpornography suspect on its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list yesterday. The FBI is offering up to$50,000 for information leading to his arrest. Thai authorities arrested him February 9 on chargesof lewd behavior and possession of pornographic materials after police raided his apartment andfound hundreds of
