EAST HAMPTON COPS INVESTIGATE ‘STRANGER DANGER’

East Hampton Town police are investigating the report of a man driving a white care whoasked a 13 year old boy on Thursday if he needed a ride home from school. The Springs Schoolstudent was approached while walking on Springs Fireplace Road after getting off his school bus atabout 3:30 pm. The man, heavyset and shirtless with grey hair and a mustached, was driving awhite sedan and asked several times if the boy needed a ridge home. The student answered nobut the man kept asking before driving off. Anyone with information on the so-calledstranger danger can call East Hampton Town Police at 631-537-7575.
