Kelly C. Spaich, a 28 year old former Roseville middle school teacher, pleaded guilty Tuesday inan Auburn courtroom to charges of having unlawful sex with a minor and contributing to thedelinquency of a minor. She was sentenced to 400 hours of community service, four years formalprobation and four months in jail. As part of the plea deal, she will not be allowed to work as ateacher and she is eligible to apply for alternative sentencing, such as electronic monitoring, andmay not have to serve jail time. The boy was 16 years old and a former student of hers.
