FAKE-COP RAPE PLEA

Eric McCoy, a 37 year old ex-con whose case ended up getting two Queens cops in trouble, pleaded guilty yesterday to posing as a police officer and raping two Queens women.  McCoy, of Far Rockaway, conned a 27 year old woman into thinking he was a cop and coerced her into sex on December 4.  He tried to use the ruse again on January 2 on a 15 year old he targeted but she fled and flagged down two Queens cops who did not believe her.  Both officers were suspended and McCoy was later caught after the second rape victim, a 17 year old heard him refer to himself as Officer McCoy,  He pleaded guilty for a promised sentence of 15 years.
