FAMILY’S HELL (Priest molested all five kids, $25M suit says)
Five brothers and sisters from the same Long Island family have filed a $25-million lawsuit against the Diocese of Rockville Centre and Bishop William Murphy, alleging that, the Rev. Daniel Babis, a Long Island priest abused them repeatedly when they were children. A summons filed Tuesday in State Supreme Court in Mineola says Babis, who died in 1978, abused Richard Regan, now 62, his sister JoAnn and three unnamed siblings.
